JCPenney Portraits

Zoe was an amazing photographer!! She was so fun and inviting, and totally understood our vision for cheesy family portraits. The other staff at the front desk were also very friendly. My friends and I were very happy with how our photos came out. 100% would recommend!

I’m making this review to hopefully save people from wasting their money here. I should’ve have read recent reviews because they’re spot on. First, we were rescheduled for another time so we wouldn’t have to wait. We showed up and still had to wait an hour. Our 3 month old was ready and happy for a very long time before we got called in. It was absolutely infuriating. And naturally, he lost his cool half way through the session. The photo area smelled! My husband had to step out it was so bad. There are little to no props for babies. I wish I had known I would have brought my own. I had an idea for a picture and was told I had to wait, that we could do it later. We never ended up doing it because I kept waiting for him to cue us for it and then it just never happened. $180 for poor customer service and unedited pictures. Don’t waste your time. JC Penny - do better.

Was not taken in until 2 hours after my scheduled appointment, claimed she called to confirm but was never contacted. Unfortuanly, short staffing is not my fault ! Ophelia was very nice - super helpful and understanding with our fussy baby! It would have been nicer if we got in during our appointment time as we were prepared with a nice tired newborn for perfect pictures. Overall, thanks, but not sure if a return visit is in our future.

Arrived a little late, but they were very understanding. The photographer was great, as we had multiple sets for 5 people including my grandsons 1st Christmas pics. We had dozens of different pics taken with alternate backdrops, and she was great with the baby. The two negatives were the fact they couldn't give us our digital pics while we were there (they informed us of this prior) and the amount of time it took us to recieve our prints and cards. Overall a very positive experience. (Including one pic to show the quality, and because I love showing off my daughter and grandson...lol)

- my photographer made me look so butt ugly. I LIKE the way I look. I should’ve been more firm about what I wanted. - cheesy poses when I asked for something more artsy and cool. Lame, no creativity here. - smelled so bad! - SO expensive for a digital version of your photo!! $60?!

Currently standing in line after an hour of waiting. We took pictures on Saturday at 8pm. We had a terrible photographer. I’m assuming he’s the only one that works here. 1. My dogs didn’t like him and he didn’t understand that. 2. He smelled so bad. 3. He didn’t offer any poses and we only took 6 pictures. I was then told I had to come back another time to look at the pictures and that’s where we are now. I’m in line while they edit pictures. The kid is looking at our pictures and doesn’t know who is who for customers. I simply wanted 3 pictures on a Christmas card and I’ve been here over an hour and a half. I will never be doing this again.

I’ve gotten my sons pictures done there in tree different occasions, for his two year old pictures, when they FINALLY came in every single one of them had a white streak across them, so they said they had to send them back and re order them, this happened a SECOND TIME. So by the time I got my pictures without streaks threw them it was over 3 months after the pictures were actually taken. No one apologized or even offered a coupon for my troubles. My son got his three year old pictures done yesterday, the lady rushed us, only took probably less then 10 different poses and used no props which I asked for. I am not impressed with this place and won’t be going back. Don’t waste your money
