I hired Mara as our photographer for a summer camp I was directing, and I’ve spent most of my time back home reliving the experience through her incredible photos ❤️ From the initial planning stages, she was responsive and easy to coordinate with. Her confidence and expertise made me feel like I, as the director, could focus my attention on other more important matters. On site, she didn’t just capture the spirit of the week beautifully…she was a wonderful, energetic presence too! It is one thing to be skilled at your craft, but it is rare to find someone who also brings such infectious, positive energy. Her presence genuinely lifted the team and created a joy-filled work environment. 10/10, highly recommended.

I hired Mara to photograph grad photos + family photo for one of my clients in New York, and I truly cannot recommend her enough! From start to finish, she was professional, organized, warm, and incredibly talented. My clients absolutely raved about their experience and were beyond thrilled with the final gallery. The photos captured not only the event itself, but all of the little moments and emotions that made it special. Mara is the best! She is not only a supremely talented photographer, but knows how to tell stories through her photographs. I've worked with her a number of times now through The Sunset Post. She's taken portraits of people I was writing profiles on as well as taken photos of rehearsal of a school play I wrote about. During both shoots, she was kind and attentive to the needs of the photo subjects and anticipated the needs of the shoot. For the photography at the school, she moved around, capturing every angle and moment there was to photograph. Afterwards, she curated an incredible set of photos. On the technical side of things, she's a great, careful editor of photos. Recommend her highly and can't wait to work with her more in the future for various photographic needs, newspaper and otherwise.

Mara is a talented photographer, she captured movement shots and even small event details perfectly at our choir and folk dance group fundraiser gala. She will suggest group photo poses if needed and will go out of her way during the concert to get the best angles. Book her with confidence!

Mara did a beautiful job capturing the Grand Opening of the new clinic space for my physical therapy practice, Empower Physical Therapy. She was easy to work with, made sure she was clear on what I wanted to be able to do with the photos, and really captured the vibe of the event. I cant thank her enough!
