Second Season Photography

Emily has captured so many of life’s most precious memories for us, from engagement photos to maternity and newborn, first birthdays and beyond for both of our children. She has a special gift for capturing personality in her photos that always blows me away! She is patient, kind and so great with children (and unenthusiastic husbands too). She makes everyone feel comfortable and she always gets the most beautiful shots. She is our absolute favorite, we love Second Season Photography!

The maternity and newborn package is an excellent choice for anyone expecting and Emily makes the process so easy! Our maternity session happened to fall in early spring before the blooms or leaves came back. Emily went out of her way to go scout outdoors locations for us before we ultimately decided to do a studio. She sent us multiple studios to consider and took care of all the scheduling. The session itself was very laid back, even with a toddler and dog running around. I credit this mostly to Emily’s calm and open demeanor. She is patient and gentle and very approachable even for our shy little one. The newborn session was the same. She held space for all the feelings and wiggles from the toddler and newborn, and us parents, if we’re being real. Her edits are beautifully warm and she did an excellent job removing any distracting background items from our messy home without it looking unnatural. I highly recommend Emily for family photos!

Emily is amazing and her work is even more amazing. We found Emily at second season photography for our maternity photos and then could not wait to have her do our in home newborn photos. She was professional, kind, easy to schedule with, and has such and eye for amazing photos. We wanted our crazy dogs to be a part of the photos and she made it happen! We are thankful to be here in Columbus area for the next few years to continue to have her photograph important memories for our family! Emily went above and beyond our expectations during our newborn session! We were unsure how cooperative our very busy toddler would be, but she made him feel so comfortable and encouraged him to be as goofy as he wanted! We will cherish these photos forever and look forward to using Second Season Photography again in the future.

Emily was fantastic from start to finish. I booked a proposal and she did a great job communicating with me to make it a surprise for my now fiancé. Pictures also came back very quick and they turned out fantastic! Lastly, the client portal that she has makes it very simple and easy to pay, and access the photos! 10/10 experience!
