JCPenney Portraits

With a family of 7 and three babies under three years old, it’s not easy for us to leave the house altogether and definitely not easy to capture photos of us all together. But Kassie was exceptional. She called me ahead of time so we could discuss what I was wanting and her recommendations. She scheduled us for the best time based on our group size. When we arrived she learned the names of our kids so quickly and did amazing at capturing some beautiful smiles from everyone. She truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. And I must add, when her manager LISA pulled her away from us to yell at HER (in our earshot) because MY husband parked in the wrong spot- she came back and apologized for us having to wait with a great attitude. I was furious with that manager, we were the last group of the night, we were two minutes from being done and out of there, she should have waited and a calm discussion with her after we were gone. But Kassie supported her manager bc she’s the true professional while empathizing for the effect it had on us. A real gem. Would go back to her 100x and hopefully Lisa wouldn’t be around. Thank you Kassie, our pictures are amazing!!!

We had a 50% discount coupon but it was still $175 for a handful of digital photos. I would not mind that so much but there was Zero direction from the photographer. My jacket needed straightening and she said nothing. She was not ready to shoot but told us to pose with our 2 year old. She then proceeded to fiddle with her camera's controls. Finally, when she was ready, our two year old was fussy from sitting still for so long so we could not take the shot. Overall, I am disappointed in the lack of professionalism from a family photo-shoot that was not so cheap.

Kassie was absolutely wonderful as a photographer and made our visit a great experience. We had three kids (7, 5, newborn) and she was so good and patient with them that they even enjoyed their time there. She really put a lot of effort and thought into it and had a very good eye. The quality of the pictures was as good as I’ve gotten anywhere, even a boutique studio. The sessions are shorter with less options than a boutique but for our purposes it worked out perfectly. I am so happy with my pictures and our experience and would gladly come again to have her as our photographer. Thanks Kassie!

Very unprofessional place, we had an appointment at 3:30 but didn't get our pictures done until 4:30 pm. I understand it's busy and it's the holidays but seriously, supervisor did not acknowledge anyone or apologize for the chaos, many employees standing around with only one photographer working and one employee checking customers out.. all employees seemed annoyed and rude! One even told me young daughters to move because she needed space by the computers instead of politely asking to move aside she made it seem like we were a nuisance when we were paying customers! Pictures could have came out better than they did but I can deal with that. This is actually the second time we have had bad service at this location, we will not be back!!.

We were super happy with how quick and easy the process was. We were also so happy we got some priceless pictures of our daughter. Getting an 18 month old to cooperate and capturing a good picture is not easy! We will back in the future!

I give this rating because the guy working there was REALLY unprofessional. We were the last family of the night and man can you tell he was done with our session. We have 3 kids all under 4 years old, and as you would expect they were not cooperating but they were also impatient due to them pushing us out our photoshoot time. The guy there was not experienced taking pictures of kids and stepped out to get a drink of water. At the end he tried to sell us photos without apologizing for his rude behavior. the lady working there was nice enough to waive our fee of $50 which helped out a lot! Thank god for the nice lady to step in take our photos and take our fee off! Love her

We had our photoshoot for our 5 month old and she was super cranky on the day of the shoot. We were offered to reschedule session and our situation was understood by them. The following week , photos were taken and the entire team was very kind and they followed up with us to make sure we received our photos from both the sessions online when I had questions about them. I would definitely recommend JCPenney portraits ..
