Julie Newell Photography

I have been going to Julie Newell since April of 2021. Within that time frame they have done 4 photo shoot sessions. I have had newborn session, 1/2 year, and cake smash along with family shoots. They are very professional and knowledgeable of the work they do. I had experiences with other photography places and Julie Newell is by far the best. They are very flexible and accommodating to my time. They make the whole photography experience feel smoothly and enjoyable that even my kiddos are comfortable with them. I am always excited about our proofs and very content with the final product. Looking forward for my next 1year cake smash session.

We have been using Julie Newell Photography since my daughter was born three years ago. The quality of the photos is amazing. Liz even manages to get great shots when your kid is an mood. They have also been amazing to work with through the pandemic and accommodating to busy working parent schedules. Its refreshing to work with someone who makes things easy for you.

Liz, Julie and team are seriously THE best! I was lucky enough to find them when my oldest child was 15 months. Fast forward 2.5 years and they have since done four family sessions for our family, as well as my maternity and newborn photos for my second child. They are the utmost professionals when dealing with small children. My oldest (3.5 years) always starts a little nervous during sessions and Liz and her team have always taken their time and helped to make her feel comfortable. Because of their patience, we always get the most perfect pictures! I constantly get comments on my pictures; you will not beat their quality! Regarding other reviews on pricing, I’ve never had an issue or experienced anything similar. Liz and her team have always provided their pricing and packages before I book and pay my session fee. The options are reasonable for the area and I have found similar pricing from other Chicago photographers. I feel so lucky to have found our forever family photographer when my children are small!

Julie and the team at JNP were amazing!!! I have used JNP for newborn, toddler and family pictures. All of her photos were amazing and the way she and her team were able to get great happy smiles from my kids was a miracle. The kids had a wonderful experience and it shows in the beautiful pictures Julie took. JNP even handled the framing which made the whole process seamless and practically effortless. Julie and Liz provide an amazing experience with their photoshoots. Not only do they have an enormous selection of props and outfits, but will help you pick out and style everything before the big day! They are total pros working with little ones and getting them to smile and feel comfortable so you know you're going to get incredible photos. Everyone who has seen our photos is blown away by them, definitely worth the investment and the priceless memories captured!
