We had an amazing experience with our photographer on our wedding day and our engagement photos. Joel captured every moment so beautifully, from the big, emotional moments to the small details that made the day feel so special. He made us feel comfortable, were incredibly professional, and brought such a calm presence throughout the day. Joel was absolutely amazing! We would 100% recommend. He took both our engagement and wedding photos. Absolutely love our photos! He will do anything to get the shot even if that means getting soaked by ocean waves up to his chest. Joel is professional and personable. He made us feel so comfortable and still was able to capture absolutely gorgeous shots. On our wedding day he was extremely efficient that allowed us to capture all of our moments and enjoy our day to its fullest. He is down to earth and very easy to work with. Joel and his team were amazing! We had our wedding back in June and the photos came out so beautifully. He scouted the location weeks before to ensure that he knew the layout and got the best background for the photos. He was so nice and calm throughout the whole experience, which was greatly appreciated by everyone. If you need a wedding or elopement photographer, he is your guy!

Joel is the best of the best! We first met him at the Redding Bridal Show and he was our photographer for both our engagement shoot and our wedding. My husband and I had never done a professional shoot before and were nervous to be behind the camera but Joel helped us feel totally at ease. He’s kind and easy-going, but also very professional. He was even willing to trudge through a muddy meadow with us to capture the most breathtaking engagement photos! Joel stayed in constant communication with us and offered suggestions, advice, etc. leading up to the wedding. On our wedding day, we knew we would be in good hands. He has such a unique ability to capture the most special moments and all of our photos turned out absolutely magical. If you’re considering using Joel as your photographer: DO IT. It was one of the best decisions we made and we will cherish our photos for many years to come. Thank you so much Joel!

Joel is the absolute best photographer you will find in Chico! His work is amazing and he is the most personable guy. We immediately knew quality was his top priority, but trusted that he would perform day of and hoped for a good outcome. What we later found out by working with him is that he is extremely easy to be around and his guidance for uncomfortable people in front of the camera was perfect. What we also didn't know until the day of our wedding was that he is also EFFICIENT and what that meant for the rest of our day! He works quickly, knows what shots to take, and somehow we also never felt rushed or unseen. We were able to get pictures done and enjoy so much of our day with family and friends! When changes came up he went with the flow, took our requests into consideration and adjusted the day on the fly without an inkling of stress or concern. We can not recommend Joel enough.

From booking, the day of, to the day the photos were received, Joel made everything so easy! He made my 3 year old laugh, helped us "not be so awkward" (says my 13 year old), and was extremely professional. His communication was beyond excellent and the turn around time from the time he took the photos until we received them was so fast! I don't think I could have asked for better. We will be lifelong clients now.

I can’t thank Joel enough for capturing a special memory for our family. We’ve always dreamed of having cool Halloween inspired family pictures. Joel is so creative and went above and beyond. I gave him few details and he made the rest happen. He sees your vision and brings it to life. Aside from his next level talent, he has great communication and gets your gallery back to you so fast.
