Luminous Photographs

Stephanie was awesome! We had such a fun time having our engagement pictures taken. It was such a great experience. She had beautiful ideas and all of her photos turned out even better than we thought they would. We're so happy, that we have decided to let Luminous Photographs take all of our family photos in the future. Stephanie was a delight to work with from the planning stage to picking out proofs to delivery of pictures! She made the photo session fun and relaxed. We were pleasantly surprised at how many shots she got in during our session. She had so many creative shots with her eye for detail. It is truly a calling for her. In our situation, we needed a magazine quality proof and she certainly delivered! We have had so many compliments. These were the best pictures we have ever had taken and we definitely use her again! Truly a fantastic photographer to work with. For our wedding we had a couple of very off the wall requests and Stephanie handled it all like a pro, never balked at doing something out of the ordinary, and was very encouraging. During the wedding, her and her assistance were amazing, there were so far in the shadows, so noninvasive, I forgot they were there half the time and she captured some amazing moments doing so! She handled a very special request so thoughtfully.... we knew the pictures would take a while to get back because she thoroughly edits every picture to give you the best shot possible, but we were so anxious for pictures, we asked if she would just send us a couple, to tide us over till we got the rest, and she delivered! Within a day or two, we had 3 amazing, edited shots in our email to use for Facebook and other needs until we got the rest of the photos (what other wedding photographer does that, seriously!?) And she really picked the best couple of photos that we can share with friends, it's like she got to know us and just knew what photos we would want to see right away. Stephanie is a joy to work with and very enthusiastic about her work. You can tell she cares and capturing your special day really means something to her, you're not just another client. I am extremely happy with my engagement and wedding photos and I recommend her highly.

I couldn't be happier with our engagement photos. Stephanie was extremely professional, and had really great ideas for poses and was very open to trying some that we saw on pinterest. We told her where we wanted to shoot, and she did a lot of research and found some really awesome places nearby that we weren't even aware of! The pictures came out great, and I was very pleased with the entire experience. Thank you!

Stephanie was very nice to work with, especially considering that I wasn't easy to work with (I hate having my photo taken, and was admittedly pretty sulky and whiny during our session). My husband and I were getting pictures taken to send out to our families after we eloped, and we had a very specific and simple type of picture (as far as the pose) in mind. Stephanie was sure to get several photos that met our criteria, but she did encourage us to take some more creative ones, too. We're very glad she did, and we had a hard time picking out which pictures we wanted to order. The scenery wasn't the best (this was late December in Denton, and there were very few trees with leaves on them), but she still found beautiful spots for our pictures. After ordering and receiving our photos, I had a minor problem with them (I hadn't realized the Luminous logo would be on each of them, and it was bugging me), but Stephanie was kind and understanding enough to reprint them for us, without the logo. We are very grateful that she did this! We would definitely recommend her to anyone.
