Steve Dean Photography

Steve Dean photography is a fantastic service. He is personable and professional. Very knowledgeable in his field. It pains me to rate him 3/5 but with good reason. His final deliverable, a photo I paid $80 for (I bought two for $160), included a watermark signature on the bottom right corner. Had he disclosed this, that would have been fine. I was counting on an unobstructed, professional headshot of myself in my formal military uniform. Whatever, 4/5 stars for that. However, when I called him to ask, he compared his imagery to art akin to a musical album where the artist puts their name on their record. Sure, that might be normal for a copyrighted product for sale to the general public. This was a professional photoshoot meant to be about *me* with *my* imagery as the highlight. I explained this, and Steve offered no remedy besides that he wouldn't do it next time as an exception. If you want to pay $300 for a professional headshot with photos for him to slap his name on your photo, then go for it. 3/5. Pro Tip: You can pay a guy on reddit $5 to photoshop out the signature. Don't forget the metadata in the image either.

Steve is a very funny and talented photographer, and he made me laugh a bunch of times to get the best look for my pics.... Very helpful at getting me to relax so I could have the best photo movement.. Gorgeous studio..a hidden gem! I'll be booking another shoot within the next week... THANK YOU STEVE

I’m a model Steve’s been working with for a few months, and I just wanted to pop in here and talk about my experience with him. Steve is a Master in lighting, posing, camera angles, etc. He is also incredibly quick and skilled at photoshop and retouching. That said, what I really want to emphasize here is that Steve makes me feel absolutely beautiful! His photos portray the very best parts of me. I have nothing but effusive good to say about my experience as a model in front of Steve’s camera. He’s so creative and goes to great lengths to get the very best shots. Having worked with him on a regular basis for some time now, I must say that I’ve been blown away consistently by Steve’s talent.

Steve Dean is an amazing photographer. From our business headshots to both our daughters' graduation photos, Steve put the effort in to bring out our best side while still looking natural. I recommend him to everyone.

Mr. Dean did wedding photos for myself and senior photos for my husband years before that. He does an amazing job, works hard just in preparation for the photoshoot going to the sight, if outdoors, multiple days in a row before, just to ensure the lighting will be ok for the photos. He makes amazing albums and gives good rates for his sessions and edits them while enhancing features but not taking from the actual person. My family has gone to Mr. Dean for all needs for professional photography and are looking forward to continuing business with him for a very long time.

Steve is extremely talented and accommodating. He's managed to excellently capture our family, including two large dogs and an uncooperative cat. He does great work.

Steve does all of my product photography. I've also seen him look at the impossible, grab pen and paper, do complex math and then get the exposure right in the worst situations. He is a lighting genius.
