I feel compelled to write a review because of all the negative reviews. Kim did newborn photos of my baby on July 8, 2023. We had a great experience during the shoot. Kim made us feel relaxed and at home. My baby was wonderful; she slept until the last few minutes of the shoot. The entire process took about 2 hours. I emailed Kim 6 weeks or so later about the 'sneak peek' photos she promised on the day of the shoot. I received them a few hours later. I did not contact her again about the photos until October 13, 2023. Within minutes I received the completed album. The photos are beautiful. People have commented that they are magazine level photos. I am beyond satisfied with her work and professionalism during this process. For complete transparency I will point out a couple of things. She initially said she would send the 'sneak peek' photos within a couple of weeks. She also said she would be completely finished within 5-6 weeks but during the same conversation she said it used to be 4 or 5 months before people would get the finished project. So basically as others have said, her timetable may not be ideal but I have been busy caring for my little princess so it wasn't a big issue. If you are patient, it will be worth the wait!

Please do not trust these people with your precious memories of your newborns. I did not get my pictures back for 16 weeks despite being told it would be 3-6 weeks. The day of my shoot Kim said she was leaving the next day for a one month vacation to Australia. After waiting four months for my pictures, her assistant Juanita told me Kim had experienced a death in her family prior to my session and was therefore backed up. She said I would finally get my pictures that evening. When I looked at my album it was the wrong baby. I inquired about that and Juanita condescendingly argued with me over two emails that the wrong baby had been in my album for weeks and I should have noticed. She tried to place the blame on me. When I reached out to Kim again, Kim finally responded herself but also in a negative and unprofessional manner. I could not be more disappointed with the experience. Please find nicer people to work with and trust your precious babies with.

Amazing! She does excellent work. It did take about 17 weeks to receive them, BUT you can pay to have them done a lot faster then that. So the only compliant I had is my own fault. These other comments I find very hard to believe. She has done pictures of both my babies. My daughter was a breeze and posed great. My son was not, he kept moving and even had the hiccups for a bit. But she was great and extremely patient with them. You can really tell she loves what she does. I also didn't have a problem with her responding and was very professional. I even had to change my appointment time, she was quick to respond and accommodating to my last minute scheduling issue. I do not know her personally just through her services but she was very warm and welcoming.

Very unprofessional. Response time to emails was very slow- almost non existent. Photos were loaded to website several days late. My USB with photos was mailed over a week late. I went in a local moms group in Facebook and discovered that a bunch of other mins had similar experiences. One mom even said she was cursed our when the photographer apparently had some mental breakdown because the mom stopped by her house to ask for a burp cloth left behind at a session. Photos were good but not worth the hassle when you already have the stress of a new baby.

Kim is such an amazing photographer!! ❤️ I have been going to her since my oldest turned one! I instantly fell in love with her work just running across it, looking for someone in my area. She has photographed all the babies in my family for the past 7 years! She always takes her time with each baby to get the absolute best photo!! Always a pleasure to work with!

Kimberly took photos of my baby Sunday April 2 2023, today is September 18th and I’ve yet to see all photos of my babies. We were at her house/studio for 5 and a half hours that day for photos. The babies were fussy, but we were patient and were told that she was used to it and well experienced with fussy babies. Her website even states verbatim "Don't stress over your baby not cooperating, I have a 100% success rate with all my sessions so you will not leave disappointed." I can assure you that statement is incorrect. So much so that she had me bring one twin back for more photos on Friday April 7th, I agreed to do so in hopes it would go smoother and make it easier for her to edit. I had very high expectations given the work she shares and I am disappointed to say the least. We paid over $400 to have photos of our babies and the experience was terrible from the start. While taking our photos she made comments about bad reviews she received in the past due to her being sick etc; and needing time off of work. I saw past reviews but took them with a grain of salt, that was my first mistake. Please take consideration in my review and others when considering your newborn photographer. I received "sneak peaks" on April 20th. I did not have any further communication or photos uploaded after that (with the exception of two) After texting Kim 4 times in two months, on June 25th, 12 weeks after having our photos done, she responded with a 7 text message excuse including photos of her after a cosmetic procedure, and offering a refund or free session. After reiterating my dissatisfaction and disappointment stating that we were not a good fit and partial refund was suffice, Kimberly asked to be given the chance to finish the album first, I agreed to wait and see the rest of the album. It has been another 12 weeks since that communication with Kimberly and I have not seen the rest of our photos, or a partial refund of any kind. Some of her work is phenomenal, but please don’t think she does that for every client. Her communication is terrible. She does not follow the timeline she lists on her website for photo turnaround times. She overbooks herself and lacks in all other areas. Save your money, save your time, and book with someone who will have your photos back before your baby turns a year old. Choose someone who still values their clients and their satisfaction. You will not get that with this photographer.

I was amazed at how beautiful her photos were online. She's extremely talented, no doubt. But her talent is tremendously overshadowed by her lack of professionalism and reliability. It was nearly 7 months before I got all of my photos and I didn't even get all the ones that I wanted. In my initial email to her while I was still pregnant, I asked about Christmas pictures (my due date was in November). It was most important to me. She said she could definitely do it. She took Christmas themed photos while we were there. Not very long after the shoot, she sent me the sneak peek. Just photos with a white background. Very cute photos, definitely. But I was excited to see the photos with edited backgrounds; my Christmas photos. On her site, it says it could take up to 16 weeks. I did not bother her before then. I had to email her probably 6-7 times to get my other photos. After receiving those, I emailed her 2-3 more times asking for my Christmas photos. No response. Here we are a couple weeks later, still no more photos and no response. She did get very sick earlier this year, which I understand. But even that was still months after the shoot. Ultimately, Kim is talented and when she is responding, she's very nice. She's excellent with babies and will take wonderful care of them during the shoot. However, she is not timely and not very responsive. If these things don't bother you, she's an excellent choice! However, I'm now wishing that I'd heeded the other reviews and gone with another photographer. You shouldn't have to beg someone for a product that you paid a lot of money for 7 months later. I do not feel that I got my money's worth and it's just been a headache. I feel like we got the bare minimum because she was trying to catch up.
