My husband and I could not recommend Joe and Jen more highly! From the moment we discovered their work, which speaks for itself, we knew we had to hire them for our wedding. Joe and Jen have immense talent and an incredible ability to capture how the day truly felt and everyone’s personality. In addition to the quality of their stunning work, they went above and beyond to make us and our families feel comfortable and at ease for the entire day, and were joys to have by our sides. They are calm, organized and true artists. We are so grateful to have so many gorgeous and authentic photos to help us relive our favorite day over and over again! Thank you, Joe and Jen!!

We had a photoshoot with Joe while he and Jen were visiting Amsterdam. Joe was incredibly patient and caring with our young kids, making the whole family feel entirely comfortable. We had so much fun, and it was a great experience overall! We were thrilled with how the photos turned out and are so happy to have these special memories. Highly recommend!

TLDR; if you want beautiful pictures that will perfectly capture your wedding day, look no further. Joe and Jen are not only phenomenal photographers, but also all around incredible individuals. They cannot wait to get to know you, to be excited on your behalf, and to help make your wedding dreams a reality. They make it easy for you (and your most stubborn family members) to smile naturally. They will capture those little moments you thought nobody noticed. And they're going to make it all SO FUN along the way! And for any of my queer friends reading this review, these two are the photographers for you. As a nonbinary person, navigating the highly gendered expectations of a wedding, let's be honest, sucks. But Jen and Joe will make it as easy and fun and exciting as it should be. They will never make assumptions about you, will never put you on the spot, and never make a thoughtless comment. Instead they give you the space to make YOUR dream wedding, and they will capture it with incredible love and care. They will adore you, not out of some effort to be extra inclusive, but just because they see you for who you are. If I had any critique it's that Jen and Joe live too far away from me, which makes it so much harder to get tacos together!

Joe and Jen are truly the most amazing humans. I feel beyond grateful that they were available to shoot by Oct. 2022 wedding in Rochester, MN. From the beginning of planning to months last when I finally got around to ordering my wedding album - they are delightful, authentic, and warm. I would HIGHLY recommend them for your special events or just moments to remember. During my wedding my husbands parents especially LOVED Joe and Jen and insisted on getting a photo with them at the end of the night! My favorite part of our wedding photos are the candid moments Joe and Jen captured throughout the weekend, the smiles, the hugs, the tears; they have an incredibly talent for capture the emotions and telling a story through film. Without question, I would recommend Joe and Jen to any couple looking for wedding photographers. We are now a year and a half out from our wedding and through our photos, we are able to relive not only memories of the day but actual feelings and emotions that were caught so organically in our photos. Joe and Jen are so much more than photographers- they brought an entire experience- guiding us through our day, keeping everything and everyone on schedule and reminding us to enjoy every moment from start to finish. My husband is not a photo person and was blown away at how comfortable he and his groomsmen were and how great of a job they did balancing "planned pictures" with candids. From planning conversations through receiving our wedding album, our experiences with Joe and Jen were perfect. We booked Joe and Jen Photography back in 2019 to document our engagement and wedding because we love their candid, documentary style. In our early wedding planning conversations, we realized that we wanted our wedding to act as a gathering space; bringing together the most important people of our lives: to laugh, to eat, and to celebrate. We wanted our pictures to serve as memories of our experience and to capture the raw emotions of love and joy - Joe and Jen did just that. Their kindness and appreciation of small moments make everyone comfortable in the presence of a camera. We ended up replanning our 2020 wedding thousands of miles away from Minneapolis and picked our new date solely based on Joe and Jen’s availability—that’s how essential they were to our wedding! There were many moments throughout our day where both Joe and Jen were able to keep us calm, excited, and present. Forever thankful for Joe’s dad jokes and Jen’s ability to keep everyone on track. When we received our photos (and then our incredible fine art wedding album) we cried. The photos didn’t just remind us what happened on our wedding day, they captured exact moods and the feelings that were present in all of our friends and family. We have so much gratitude for Joe and Jen. We can’t wait to work with them again in the future.
