Main St. Photo-Video

I cannot recommend Main Street Photo enough. From the moment I walked in, the owner took the time to truly listen to what I needed and met me exactly where I am as a beginner. Using his deep knowledge and experience as a photographer, he helped me choose the perfect DSLR to get started; never overwhelming, never upselling, just thoughtful guidance every step of the way. He patiently answered all of my questions, explained things in a way that made sense, and made sure I felt confident before I left. He also set me up with a great camera bag, a comfortable strap, and a beautiful lens all at a price that felt more than fair. Being able to hold the camera, feel how it fit in my hands, and have a real conversation with someone who genuinely cares about photography is something online shopping could never touch. This kind of personal experience is priceless. We will absolutely be back. Supporting a local business like this , one built on knowledge, passion, and care is worth every bit of it.

This place is great. John is very talented. I had a nearly 15 year old video on DVD that had a lot of audio issues and needed a section trimmed out. He did a great job and I’m so grateful he was able to edit the video. He’s very busy, so I recommend communicating your deadline and expectations for the project in detail and he will get it handled for a very reasonable price. Will definitely use him again for future needs! Thank you, John!!!

i tried to get my film developed here and its been well over a month and I still haven't received them! I've called many times and understand that they were behind, but I've been told multiple times that I will 'get them by the end of the day/week' each time I call.

Staff was awesome/helpful and also was nice enough to test an old camera in front of me to show it's functional. The prices were top notch and reasonable and will definitely be back for more retro cams and deals. Here's the Sony Mavica camera itself and the charger ( battery was in the camera and floppy disk wasn't included ) Also a shot from the camera itself! ( From the state fair ) Once again, if your looking for cameras/bags/cords eta, of many types you may or may not come across it here.

Main Street Photo and John are a local treasure. I came in looking for a point and shoot film camera one day. This turned out to be a major "mistake"because it has turned it an obsessive hobby of mine now, thanks to John and his amazing service and expertise. John always takes the extra time to answer your questions about products, give advice on the photos you’ve gotten back from development, or even just chit-chat about anything photography! I am always impressed with the service and knowledge provided by Main Street Photo. If you have an interest in photography, or need any other services they offer, do not hesitate to swing by, you will not be disappointed.

This shop has a lot of vintage cameras — very captivating! I picked up a camera in excellent condition, at a great price too. The shop owner is very nice.

Almost left because it was so slow. Wished I did because after taking the photo, the printing was so slow. Employee sloths around mixing in things that can wait. Then $27. This is one of those businesses that absolutely deserves to lose and shut down.
