Words cannot express the experience I had with Diana Smyth. I am a photographer in Lancaster and spent the day with Diana learning lighting, posing, new techniques. Diana brought in 4 maternity models, provided hair and make up to enhance the experience and quality of images. We just worked it out for 9 hours!! Diana is friendly, kind and considerate. Her work ethic is above reproach. I highly recommend her if you’re a photographer looking to level up your skills!!!

Diana is the best! She's photographed our family twice a year since my son was a newborn. She is amazing behind the camera but I think her real super power is that she has such a calming presence on the whole family. By keeping everyone excited and calm, she is able to nail the perfect shots! She takes the time to chat color schemes prior to pictures and a zoom to view the proofs. Book with her! You're only regret will be on how to narrow down what photos to pick!

I am not the most comfortable in front of a camera, and I felt so relaxed and celebrated with Diana from start to finish. Diana was very approachable and kind during our consult about the plans for the session - not to mention the luxury of the included wardrobe, and hair and makeup. On the day of, the makeup artist Jess did a brilliant job of working with my natural curls and creating an elevated but still natural version of me, and I was surprised by how much fun and enjoyment I experienced during the shoot! Diana is incredibly professional but also so warm, and genuinely cares that we captured this moment in time in a way that felt good. We are really looking forward to our newborn shoot with her, and could not recommend her more highly.

I tend to feel awkward taking photos but Diana really did a fantastic job of making me feel confident and comfortable and we love how the maternity photoshoot gallery came out. She has a nice variety of options within her wardrobe and made sure we were set up for a great session in advance with a virtual consult. Highly recommend!

Diana’s pictures are spectacular. Our newborn shoot was a wonderful experience because our baby was soothed and calm. Her skills as a mother and teacher coupled with an eye for a perfect shot make for magical memories. We were obsessed with her Santa Experience session too! I wouldn’t trust anyone else to capture my baby’s precious firsts.

What a great experience! Getting a 1 year old to sit still and smile seems impossible, but Diana was able to capture the most amazing pictures that we will forever treasure. It was such an enjoyable experience from start to finish. Highly highly recommend!

Diana was an absolute gem to work with! She went above and beyond with our newborn photos. She was very patient with our oldest and incorporating him into our family photos with our newest. The day of was a breeze, she took care of getting pictures of our baby while mom got hair and make up done by Kim! (Highly recommend getting your hair and make up done for a newborn shoot, it boosted my confidence so much after having a baby just 8 days prior) !!) She got our gallery to us very quick. We did a zoom call to pick all our favorites where she helped us pick our gallery favorites as well. She was very responsive and overall we couldn’t have picked a better newborn photographer.
