We hired Rachel as our birth photographer, and I will be forever grateful that we did. She was so supportive and wonderful both before and during labor. She was the first of my homebirth team to arrive, and she was such a comfort right from the start. Rachel was so incredible about not being intrusive with the camera during labor, and was just a joyful presence to have there. She captured that night and our family so beautifully and truthfully. I will cherish having these photos for the rest of my life. If you’re on the fence about having Rachel as your birth photographer, don’t question it. She’s incredible.

As all moms know we are usually the ones behind the camera (and like it that way). Rachel makes the whole experience feel relaxed and easy. This process translates to fly on the wall style images with a hint of cinematic magic that makes the images twinge with an instant nostalgia. The collection of images from our newborn session really are the most honest and beautiful time capsule. I highly recommend Rachel and can't wait to capture more of our family moments with her.

Rachel was phenomenal, not only as a photographer capturing our precious first moments with our daughter, but just as a supportive presence as well. I think her experience as a doula really adds to her photography expertise in being at the right place at the right time to capture the best moments from the best angles. Rachel was so friendly and communicative from the beginning, and very thorough in asking us what our vision was of our experience. We have the most wonderful collection of photos and a great video of the highlights from that day. Both the larger album and the baby board book she made us are so sweet to look at. I recently introduced our daughter (now over a year old) to the album and she is fascinated by it. She loves to pull it off the shelf and look at the photos, and it makes my heart melt every time. Do not hesitate to hire Rachel for your birth photography needs! You will be forever grateful.

Rachel is absolutely phenomenal. We were from out of town and wanted to get some outdoor family photos taken during our family vacation. Rachel recommended beautiful locations and captured stunning pictures of our family! It was great being able to pick out the pictures and products that suited our family best! I wish I could have our own local Rachel back home but would definitely use her again if ever back in the Philly area!

We did maternity pictures with Rachel and the whole experience was great! Rachel is so easy and fun to work with. She was flexible in moving our date for poor weather. The entire session felt very natural, and we spent time taking pictures in some of our favorite Philly spots. The pictures turned out amazing, and we have gotten so many compliments.
