We had such a great experience with Alyx! She totally captured our family as we are right now — the smiles, the laughter, and those real little moments in between. Somehow she got everyone looking happy and relaxed (no small feat!). The whole session felt easy and fun, and the photos turned out so genuine and full of life. We absolutely love them and will treasure these shots for years to come!

We’ve had Alyx take our family photos the past 2 years and she is just phenomenal! We have 2 young kids who are very active and it is really hard to get them to stay still or pose for photos. But Alyx is so good with them — not only patient, but knows how to work with them and capture photos of them in their natural state. This last photo session the kids were really energetic and not listening or really cooperating. I may have appeared calm on the outside during the photo session, but I was super stressed and was convinced the photos wouldn’t turn out well. But we were so pleasantly surprised with the results! Alyx captured so many great shots — she’s really good at getting all the in between shots when they’re just moving about naturally. My husband and I were both very impressed. Alyx is a true professional and a gem of a person. She sets kids at ease right away and seemingly without any effort, though I'm sure she has worked really hard to refine this kind of magic with littles. We hired her to take school portraits of our kids. The photos really captured their energy and their personalities. She was quick without being rushed, and she made them feel comfortable right away. She delivered the images to us within a reasonable amount of time and was easy to work with from start to finish. I'd recommend her to anyone.

Alyx is amazing. She recently took maternity photos for my wife (and me) with our first child on the way, and the portraits are all stunning. I’m not always the most comfortable on camera but Alyx posed us like an expert and made us both really comfortable. Can’t recommend her highly enough.
