Kurty Photography

Paula and I got married last year and having Kurty Wong as our photography was a really good choice. Not only was he easy and fun to work with, but he seemed to be everywhere at once! Capturing the most special moments of our wedding. In fact, we are still creating photo books and album photos for our friends and family from his photographs.

Kurty was amazing at our City Hall wedding last week. We were two brides and he was warm and welcoming. We felt completely comfortable with him and he took great photos! We got pictures at City Hall and Bakers Beach. They turned out great and incorporated a variety of portraits, posed, and candid. I would definitely recommend him! Plus, you can't beat the price compared to other photographers found on YELP and online in the area.

Kurty was such a pleasant surprise because I had never worked with a professional photographer before. I just happened to find him on Google. He was available immediately as soon as I sent a request to meet him for a headshot photo. He was great to work with and did a fantastic job. He was creative, professional and worked hard to get the best look. He also helped me select the best shot out of the 60 photos he took. Overall, it was such a great experience and I highly recommend him.

I am very impressed with Kurty’s work and would definitely recommend him! I did a mini headshot session with Kurty and absolutely love how my photo came out. He made me smile and laugh throughout the shoot which was key to getting that perfect professional photo. I even received my retouched photo the same day. Highly recommend!

Amazing! Incredible! Gorgeous! WOW! these are some of the compliments that my friends and family members say about my wedding pictures. There are only a few events in life where one cannot redo and wedding is one of them. Having said that, choosing the right photographer to translate those precious moments into images is not an easy task to expect from some stranger. Hence I chose my photographer very carefully...almost like choosing a "husband". The expectations are high of course. Kurt's easy going personality put us at ease from our first meeting. His experience, professionalism, and flexibility clearly surpassed our expectations. "HE GETS US!!". As such, we made our "proposal" to Kurt as our photographer. Little that we know he became our life photographer. Over the last 13 years Kurt and his associates has captured our engagement, wedding, pregnancies, and multiple family events. I met Kurty over 20 years ago when he did my glamour shots (remember those?!!!) that everyone and their mother was getting at the time. He did a fantastic shoot of me in black and white (which I still have to this day) and is a true professional and good at his job. He made me look presentable and that's saying a lot! Kurty is very kind and patient; I'm not comfortable in front of the camera but he puts me at ease and makes suggestions for poses and angles. I asked for a makeup artist he suggested this fantastic makeup artist who made me look like a better version of me instead of an unrecognizable version with caked on makeup. His studio is a good size and he has fun music to relax to, so the mood is upbeat and happy and it will show in your pictures. He chooses the best background and lighting for you. After taking the photos he sent them to me within an hour and I was able to pick what I liked right away. If you're thinking about a headshot or a couples portrait Kurty is the person to go to - he is a fantastic and talented photographer and is a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended!
