Working with Lena for the past 4 years has been one of the best creative decisions I’ve made. She somehow manages to make every shoot feel effortless while still capturing the smallest details perfectly. Beyond being incredibly talented, she’s also the kind of person who makes you feel comfortable, confident, and fully yourself in front of the camera which honestly is a talent on its own. From dance shoots to Pilates content to personal moments, she’s captured so many phases of my life and brand beautifully. Lena is an amazing photographer! She immediately put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. She met with me prior to the shoot so that we could brainstorm ideas and she offered great artistic insight. Working with her felt natural, as if we were old friends. She is kind, she is professional, she has an eye for beautiful photography, and she is a master of her craft. It was such a pleasure to work with her and I would recommend her time and time again! I wanted to gift myself a photoshoot experience that captured a milestone of a year and to commemorate the steps taken to have arrived to today. I knew the vision I had for the session - integration of strength through softness, and was determined to look for a photographer to bring this vision to life. I spent a few weeks searching through Instagram and Google, sifting through different portfolios and I can't emphasize enough how much Lena's work stood out. I felt like her final photos of her clients were so beautiful curated and it clearly illustrated to me that photography was Lena's natural modality of artistic creation. Looking at her previous works allowed me to effortlessly fuse the vision I had for how I wanted the shoot to turn out. The shoot itself was exactly how I envisioned and I love the soft yet quirky energy she brings to the shoot, allowing me to feel more and more comfortable in her space as time went on. Lena Nugent is an incredibly talented photographer. Her ability to capture the most precious and intimate moments in life so seamlessly is amazing. I recently did a mommy & me photoshoot with my newborn son and these photos left me speechless and weeping with tears of joy.
