We absolutely love our photographer Madeline. Every session with her is an amazing experience. She is incredibly patient, kind, and wonderful with our children, making them feel comfortable and excited to take pictures every single time. She has a special talent for capturing genuine smiles and beautiful moments, and she always knows how to keep the sessions fun and stress-free. Her professionalism, creativity, and warm personality make us look forward to every visit. We are so grateful for the memories she helps us create and couldn’t recommend her enough. Thank you for always going above and beyond for our family!

We have been coming here for years and this is by far the worst year ever! Slow is an understatement. Christmas season is not new and to only have a staff of 3 on a Saturday is insane. Our appointment was for 1:15 and at 4pm we were STILL WAITING to choose photos! NO EXCUSE FOR OVERBOOKING! Photos were taken at 3:15 and the waiting area is packed with no seats or stools. Picture only shows half the crowd waiting. It’s Christmas time and there is no excuse to not have enough staff. Waiting a reasonable amount of time is one thing but waiting almost three hours with a toddler and baby is not acceptable customer service. We will NOT be back. I could have cooked an entire dinner in less time. No communication from staff about excessive wait time. None! And to make it even better they even happily accepted a walk in last minute appointment knowing they are over 3 hours behind schedule and conveniently failed to warn them. Workers were super friendly and nice but overwhelmed and mismanaged. It’s ok to tell a walk in last minute customer that they are at capacity! Our stressful experience from studio arrival to studio departure (with an appointment) was 3 hours and 55 minutes or just over 14,000 seconds of pure aggravating disappointment.

This year 2025 was the worst. They overbook all the time. A lady before us took her pictures with her 2 kids at 145pm and the 323pm and she’s still waiting to review and choose her pictures. Our appointment was 230pm and 323pm we are finally taking pictures. God only knows when we will be reviewing our pictures. JC Penny Portraits, please, please stop overbooking.

My daughter has been taking photos with Madeline since she was an infant .. she is by far the best. So patient and helpful. Our photos always come out amazing that I end up buying the entire session every single time!

Madeline was so sweet and our pictures turned out amazing! I could really tell that she knew what she was doing and it was such a fun experience. I would definitely recommend her for anyone looking to get cute and fun pictures with friends family or coworkers.

Madeline does a fantastic job on family photos and is great with our baby! They do get busy on weekends close to the holidays but allow you to walk around the mall if they're running behind and communicate well. We have had a great experience both times we went here!
