JCPenney Portraits

I wish I could leave no stars. We waited an hour for our photographer to arrive, then were rushed through our session because other families were waiting behind us. No poses were thought out so we had to come up with our own, there was zero effort to make our baby smile and the photos just looked forced and awkward. We walked out with fussy kids and zero photos after 2 hours of wasted time. This was a one and done experience for us.

JCPenney portraits are the way to go. My sister and I wanted to do the "awkward family photos" as a gift for our parents for christmas this year. We were running a little late but they didn’t mind at all and we weren’t charged any sort of late fee. Our photographer, Jessica, was so sweet. She was kind, Helpful, Knowledgeable, and not to mention; Hilarious!! She put us in all sorts of awkward photos and she had the best little comments afterwards like "love that" or "that’s my favorite" or "i’ve never loved anything more". I’ve never in my life met a photographer as caring as jessica, so if you get her you are LUCKY!!! after our photos, we went and sat in the waiting area for about 10 minutes and they called us back to their computer to view the photos. We ordered the digital album (25 photos+enhancements) , and the woman helping us with the computer gave us the best deal to get our moneys worth. Overall, we spent around $150 on the FULL digital album, including cute little cards, the basic images, and a magnet. they were emailed to me about 5 hours after our shoot! which was surprising to me considering the wait is usually 24-48 hours. We got them printed at walgreens because they’re cheaper there 😉. overall; such a fun experience and I can’t wait to do it again. If you’re on the fence about J.C. Penney portraits; this is your sign to GET THOSE PICTURES!!!

We recently went to this location for our newborn photos. We were skeptical at first due to the low ratings but we decided to give it a shot. Our photographer was Mikayla and she was absolutely amazing! She was so fun and did an awesome job with the photos and with our baby! We had such a good time laughing and chatting with her. I was so nervous at first but her super sweet personality made me feel so much better. We will definitely be coming back for future photos with our baby!

Went for our Christmas card photos today, we have a 6 month old, so I was a little worried how the photographers would handle her. Our photographer Mikayla was amazing! She was so outgoing, and was great with our little girl. And we got the best photos! The other photographer there was also very kind, and checked us out, and explained all their different services well. Edit to add: we went back for our daughter's 1-yr old portraits, and Deasia was wonderful! We did not book an appointment ahead of time and got lucky that there was an opening, and she got amazing pictures. Afterwards, she takes you through your photos, and she had edited them nicely. We love this place!

My son and I went to this location for his high school cap and gown pictures. Mikayla was our photographer and to say she did a stellar job is not giving her all the accolades she deserves. She was professional, people friendly, fun, and we laughed alot. She gave very good ideas on shots we could take and she also wanted to know what shots we were interested in. She knew exactly how to position my son for the pictures and was able to get him to give genuine smiles which is hard to do. We ended up purchasing every pose she took and have not regretted it. They were all so good we did not want to leave any of them. If you want go to a place that will ensure that you will have an awesome photo session I HIGHLY recommend this location to capture photos for any occasion especially the special occassions. Mikayla was pure joy to have as a photographer. Looking forward to working with her again in the near future.

Ms.Deasia! What a star! She made our session truly AMAZING! My husband, my 2 boys and I are forever thankful for her patience and helping hand. My 3yr old can be a handful sometimes but she was able to quickly break through his tough lol she'll and the session went absolutely amazing. We are very thankful for her professionalism and Great attitude! Thanks again Ms. Deasia for a wonderful time and great photos! 💕
