Bay Area Birth Photography

I was looking for a doula for my second birth. I didn’t even think about photography or think that it was something that I would want. After seeing the special moments that Paige had captured for other families I wanted so badly to capture that for my family. Those first moments when your baby comes earth side are so precious and special. It was so breathtaking for me to see those moments captured and feel all the love that was present in those moments. It was so healing and special for me. I didn’t even have a picture of my first born with my husband and I. I wish I had had her there for my first birth. It truly felt like Paige was two people. She was there for every moment I needed her and somehow still captured countless moments on her camera. I didn’t even notice her taking pictures to be honest and I never felt like her taking pictures took away from her doula support at all. She was there for every moment and made me feel safe and supported.

Paige is amazing. She is so talented and has an incredible eye. Paige is calm and kind, the perfect person to have at a birth. Hire her to take photos for you, especially of your birth, you won't regret it! I will treasure the photos she took of my family forever.

Renee not only captured some truly incredible, just breath-taking photos of the birth of our first child, she was an invaluable member of the birth team. As an experienced midwife, Renee knew exactly how to weave her work seamlessly into the fabric of the birthing process and we never once felt like the camera was intrusive or like the 'paparazzi' were on scene--we felt supported and cared for by Renee--and the tenderness and sensitivity with which she approaches her work can be seen and felt in the photos she took. Would--and WILL--work with her again, absolutely.

Paige is kind, warm, and so talented. She really helped us feel comfortable and caught so much love on camera! Our photos are incredible.

I cried my eyes out when I got my photos back. They were GORGEOUS. They were empowering. They were PERFECT. El and Renee are TALENTED photographers who know what they are doing. Their composition is spot on. They captured my story the way I would if I could have done it myself (I worked as a luxury wedding photographer for many years) I can't rave about them enough. BOOK THEM! You will not regret the investment!!!!!

I am honored to have the most magical photo of my daughter after her birth. During my pregnancy, I was convinced that I was having a boy. I was so graciously surprised to see my little girl and the photo that shows it is priceless! They are professional and wonderful. You won't regret this service!

We hired Paige as our birth photographer, videographer, and doula. There are currently no words in the dictionary that accurately define how incredible Paige is. I was very hesitant about spending so much on photos and a video of my birth experience. And then somewhat last minute decided to add on her doula services as well. We planned for a home birth and had a really great mid wife team and wasn't sure I really needed doula service as well. Let me tell you, it was hands down the best decision we could have made. Paige was my absolute rock during labor. I ended up having a bit of a marathon labor experience and she was by my side literally night and day. She was calm, caring, funny, so loving, and just this steady, invaluable presence. After 30 hours of back labor and next to zero sleep, I decided to transition to the hospital. This obviously wasn't quite the plan or how I imagined things going, but Paige just made the whole experience feel meant to be. She integrated so well with my midwife and the hospital team. So as far as her doula service - absolutely incredible. Then the pictures. Oh my goodness, I was absolutely blown away. How she was able to capture these moments while balancing doula work is beyond me. You'd think she had a whole team with her. Then a bit later came the video. WOWOWOW. Stunningly beautiful! She captured the experience so well. Again, mind blowing. Even the pictures in the hospital, (which was not the environment I had imagined), were so beautiful. I'm obsessed with both the pictures and video from my birth and labor experience and I have absolutely zero regrets. If you are at all on the fence, do it. Do it all. It was so worth it to me and I tell everyone planning their birth to invest in this. You will not regret it!
