JCPenney Portraits

We had a photo session for our 1 month old baby. The staff and photographer were cooperative and nice, however, the photographer (Miquela), even though very nice and accommodating (in terms of giving time for baby to be ready) is NOT a good photographer. We spent so much time, energy and money to come and she took only 4 pictures in one outfit and said we have had enough and asked to change outfit. She didn’t take any good pictures, as many pictures and there was lack of variety in terms of different angles and baby’s face was hidden in most of her shots. Unfortunately, 1 out of 5 stars in terms of photography skill and 4 out of 5 stars in terms of the rest of interaction we had with them. NOT WORTH THE TIME AND MONEY. I could have done a better job using my iPhone.

I was scheduled to take Mother’s Day photos with my daughter and was really looking forward to capturing some special memories. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The photographer was rude, unfriendly, and lacked the warm energy you'd expect during a family photo session. What should have been a joyful and memorable moment felt uncomfortable and tense instead. This was a very special occasion for us, and I’m truly disheartened by how it turned out.

I had a wonderful experience with JCPenney Portraits so I wanted to leave this review for others to read. I cannot emphasize enough how great Haley the photographer was for my corporate head shot portrait session, she called me before I arrived to ask if there were any particular lighting or certain backdrop requirements. She was very attentive, directive with my poses and very professional during the entire process, she is passionate about her work and the results shows. I am very happy with the outcome of the headshots and they were very reasonably priced. I highly recommend her and her studio.

The service is horrible. , the person who took the picture is Haley in both occasions. . she did not help in getting the children distracted for the picture. she did not help in getting the right posture. we was rushing us and has a unwelcoming face all the times, she looks mad. when you asked her a question she look as it bother her. Haley seen like she does not like her job at all, and she is there only for the paycheck. I don't know how she is the supervisor. none of my picture looks good and she don't bother in trying to address the situation is proper manners. I would love in the will train their employee to have a good costumer services.

They are in the business of bullying at the register to fill out for credit card …. Told the lady no because it would hard check my credit she insisted in order to make my transaction go faster. She followed through with applying for it and it hard checked my credit people are bullies and because of this tactic, I will not return to JCPenney.

We had an appointment at 5, we arrived 20 minutes early, we were told one party was ahead of us. 3 parties later, all came in after us were taken and we were still ignored. Then a couple came in with their children under age of 1, and the poor kids had to be put through another session. Thankfully for the parents the kids were in good moods. At 6 :15, over an hour later, we were still being ignored, we walked out. So much for Christmas cheer at JC Penney picture studio.

I was super impressed by the service! We were late for our appointment and the staff was super accommodating! The photographer was amazing with my rambunctious three year old and his sleepy 6 month old sister. Our pictures were exactly what I had hoped for! I will DEFINITELY schedule another session soon!
