I wanted to capture the breakthrough I had in becoming a new musician, and celebrate my glow. Nancy with PurpleFly Photography is not only a timely, talented, well-skilled professional, but made my photo shoot fun and enlivening. Nancy brought out both my playful and serene sides, and she helped me feel comfortable opening up and letting my joy shine. Nancy is amazing! I've had two photo sessions with her, and they have both been amazing! She is great at making the shoot fun and helping you relax and feel natural. Now about the photos... they have exceeded my expectations! Typically I am over critical of pictures of myself, but I am stunned by how many photos I love (of myself) when reviewing the gallery Nancy sent me. They are ALL great! I highly recommend Nancy and PurpleFly!

I hadn't picked up my digital camera in years before taking the course with PurpleFly Photography. I'm so happy I dragged it out of the closet and signed up for the course! I learned so much about the big three camera settings - ISO, aperture, and shutter speed - and even more about composition elements that separate merely good from really great photographs. What made this course a stand-out, though, was the opportunity to go on a photo shoot with the instructor. I got to see the world through her eyes (and camera lens). It also gave me the chance to get creative with my photos and receive immediate feedback from a photographer with decades of experience. I can't recommend this course highly enough!

I had am absolutely AMAZING time shooting with Ms Nancy. She's absolutely blessing and an amazing energy to be around and have at a shoot with you. Not only does she do photography she also does makeup and I've NEVER had my makeup look so good or felt so good on and after the shoot. Not to mention the pictures are AMAZING!!! Her creativeness and artistry shines thru the lens onto each photograph.

Nancy is not only an amazing photographer, but makes her shoots fun! I got my senior photos done with Nancy, and I'm so happy with the product! She did such an amazing job making me feel comfortable during the shoot, and I had a blast having the opportunity to have her take my photos.

We hired Nancy - PurpleFly Photography - for my mom's 80th birthday celebration through a recommendation via the Gainesville Area Women's Network, and, BOY! Did she deliver so many joyful photos to remember the evening with, and ahead of her promised delivery date. I'd hire her again in a heartbeat to fulfill my portrait wishes! Thank you for making my mom's special night one to remember. You went above and beyond!
