Lubera Portraits

If you want a photo of your pet in a professional setting, this is the place. Lubera portraits is so patient with dogs, and you have the open space to get the perfect shot, while always including breaks for treats and licks. I wanted maternity photos to get 1 shot of the dogs licking or looking at the belly, and he worked very hard to make sure we got it. He has really beautiful frames that he can print for you, but they were far out of my budget. Although he is still figuring out pricing so this may change.. What I loved was the option to have digitals so I can post them, print and send to friends.

Kevin was very kind and caring to my dog during the appointment. We’d never done a photoshoot with her before, so we weren’t sure how she would react. She was nervous but Kevin made sure that her comfort level was the biggest priority, and I really appreciate that. And the photos we got are amazing! Can’t wait to hang this on the wall! And even more amazing, Kevin is a one-man crew! He’s a hard worker, and you can tell he’s very passionate in what he does. Wish him all the best in the future!

I took a chance at doing a pet portrait for my cat, knowing that it could go either way because….thats how cats are. Kevin made things easy and did his best working with my cat (who was not giving her best face at times) while providing different options that worked best on how she wanted to pose. I appreciated that he gave different backgrounds/styles based on her fur color so it could really pop in pictures. Definitely recommend if you obsessed with your fur babies like I am!

Such an amazing experience with Lubera Portraits for my Jupiter’s studio photos. Kevin was incredibly welcoming, patient, professional, accommodating and thorough in explaining the process—in the studio and the viewing Zoom appointment. Jupiter is usually nervous around new people, but he took the time to let her warm up at her own pace. His calm and kind energy really helped her feel comfortable, and you can definitely see that reflected in the photos. The images he captured are stunning—her brown eyes really pop in every shot. It’s not easy to photograph a dog who’s a little shy, but Kevin made it look effortless. Communication throughout was on point. I’m so grateful for such a positive experience. This was our first time doing any kind of portraits so my fiance and I already went into this not really expecting much. But after meeting Kevin at Lubera Portraits we were immediately impressed with his passion, experience, and welcoming atmosphere. He really made everything easy! Before, during, and after the portraits Kevin made sure we were well informed with next steps and always stayed available for any questions we had. Kevin also worked very well with our 1yr old XL Bully. He had a whole tray of snacks and toys that helped to keep our fur baby engaged, extremely happy, and very comfortable during the entire session. After we received our portrait we were just in awe of the quality of the frame and portrait itself. If this is the first time getting a portrait, particularly if it is for your pet, Kevin took extraordinary care to explain his process and what the outcome would look like, as well as prepare you for the process to come. He obviously understands what working with pets is like, particularly dogs, and had an assortment of treats/toys available to help make sure my dog was encouraged to sit still or face the right directions. I was allowed to have as much creative input as I wanted while ensuring everything was still done professional with his guidance to allow for a solid end product. At the follow-up appointment, we were able to go through every photo he took, and every permutation available to ensure I received the product that was right for me. Indeed, as he was attempting to hone in on his product, he was willing to negotiate to try to match my own vision of what I was looking for. Where do I even start? I am delighted to have had the opportunity to work with Kevin. My family and I went in nervously, not knowing what to expect. Kevin was welcoming and very kind, and making us feel right at home. He went through all the steps with us, and he did not put any pressure on us whatsoever. Most importantly, he was so patient with our dogs! Our frenchie was a handful, yet Kevin stood calm and collected, determined to get the best shots, and he did! Kevin is truly a professional! This guy was prepared; he had treats and toys ready. He captured beautiful moments that will last us a lifetime and more.
