JCPenney Portraits

Studio equipment was left in the background of costly family portraits and included in paid collages. Another photo captured me in mid legs being crossed, so my feet appeared crooked in the image. For over $200, I expected a decent result and professionalism. Although the photographer was sweet, she lacked experience and we waited three hours for the full service to complete.

My siblings and I went with Olivia to get pictures to gift to my mom and we had the best time! She let us do some poses we had seen online as well as suggesting and guiding us through some of her ideas which we ended up loving more than our own! The turn around for the digital album was super fast and I would definitely go here again! Thank you Olivia!

Very disappointing and frustrating experience. Today we had a scheduled JCPenney Portraits session at 3:45 PM for my toddler’s baptism photos with his godmothers. After over an hour and a half, we left without a single photo. Yes, my toddler was crying and fussy but he is a toddler. We’ve done Christmas photos with a professional photographer under the same circumstances and still received beautiful pictures. A competent photographer knows how to work with children and capture moments as they happen. The photographer would not show us any poses or guide the session. When my child did have calm moments that could have resulted in good photos, she failed to take advantage of them and was extremely slow. We were later told we couldn’t receive a portfolio because she needed at least 15 photos yet she barely took any photos at all. I even asked to see just one photo, and she told me she couldn’t. When I asked to speak with someone who could help, I was given the runaround instead of real assistance. She repeatedly tried to reschedule the session, which was honestly unbelievable after how much time we had already wasted. This was an important milestone for our family, and the lack of professionalism, urgency, and basic customer service was unacceptable. The difference between hiring a real professional photographer and JCPenney Portraits is night and day. Never again. .

I been going to JCPenney for my Christmas photos with my kids for 3 years now. I love how everything is so smooth especially when you have little ones. This past weekend I was there and my photographer OLIVIA did an amazing job. I highly recommend JCPenney photo studio especially if you don’t want to break the bank.

Emily the photographer was great. She was super good with getting our 2-year old to smile and pose. We loved how the pictures came out. The portrait service was quick, easy, and reasonably priced. Thank you Emily!

We decided to do coworker awkward photos and Mark was amazing!!! We had a blast they turned out PERFECT and we were able to get so many pictures that’ll last a lifetime! 10/10 experience give Mark a pay raise!

Javier made the whole photoshoot a wonderful experience! He got us many photos in the 15-min shooting window, edited the photos quickly, and suggested a variety of poses. Javier was professional, inviting, and on top of his work. 10/10
