We booked Shylah as our photographer for our wedding in June 2021. She did a great job answering all of our questions during the planning process and was awesome to work with! I have a very difficult time taking photos and not feeling awkward but Shylah helped make the experience so easy! She is a great balance of professional and fun which really put as fully at easy throughout the entire wedding day. She did such an amazing job capturing our day and we absolutely love our wedding photos! Shylah also helped plan out a mini boudoir session before the wedding so that I could give my husband a nice day of wedding gift and it went amazing! She is so easy to work with and immediately is someone you just feel comfortable being around.

Shylah met us for a family session while we were on vacation in Big Sur. She was great to work with. Helped us create a plan a head of time, with very specific locations - very important when there is no cell service. Then she did an amazing job capturing my family, with two little kids, including a 1.5 year old who fell asleep 10 min before the session. I am obsessed with this set of photos of my family exploring a new place!

Shylah is honestly so amazing!! She exceeded way beyond the expectations I had in my mind. She made the process so easy and fun. Sometimes with photographers it can get awkward and you don't know what to do. With Shylah, she just wants to capture your love for each other and it shows with her photos. She has a huge passion for what she does and makes sure she gives out the best quality. I don't remember not smiling or laughing during the whole photo session. I always get so many compliments on the photos she took for my husband and I. I am so grateful for what an amazing job she did and I will always recommend her!

Doing my wedding photos with Shylah was an amazing experience, usually with photographers i become awkward and i don't know what to do with my hands and arms. She made it an effortless experience, especially because i dislike taking pictures. With her it was actually a lot of fun! It went by super fast, i was calm and she did an excellent job of letting me know where to put my hands and which way to turn and look, if someone asks me who to pick for a photographer i would choose her!

Shylah did an unbelievable job during our family photo shoot! Not only was it a fun and memorable time with my family, but with Shylah as well! She did an amazing job at listening to what we wanted in our family session and was so AMAZING with the kids. I will forever cherish our family pictures, they came out beautiful and every time I look at them I am still so in love with the pictures! She is able to create pure art with her photography. I can’t wait for the next family shoot with her!

I have done Boudoir photography with Shylah twice. Both times my photos were amazing- I felt so powerful not only taking them but after I got them! Plus my hubby is obsessed with them! She is patient and makes you feel super comfortable! She knows all the right poses and does some retouching if needed. I would highly recommend her to anyone even thinking about doing photos! You will be glad you did!

I don’t even know where to begin with this review because this business woman has it all. The talent, charisma, personality, skills and professionalism in her industry. Shylah was able to fit us into her schedule with very short notice. She knew exactly how to guide us while posing and it flowed very naturally! It was very comfortable, not a single moment of awkwardness. We can’t thank her enough for the stunning photos she created, she over delivered with a gallery of photos that make our hearts fuzzy. If you’re ever looking for a photographer in California SHE’S THE ONE! No doubt. Her work is already beautiful but working with her during a photoshoot is an experience in itself.
